Hillbark Hotel
This Grade II listed Elizabethan-style mansion is located in 250 acres of parkland in Royden Park, Wirral. The idyllic setting is complemented by historic architecture creating a picture-perfect backdrop. The sun terrace is the ultimate space for a drinks reception, and couples looking for al fresco nuptials can say ‘I do’ under the outdoor garden pagoda – for up to 400 guests.
As well as 18 individually-designed bedrooms and suites, a luxurious spa and Riviera Restaurant, the hotel has been licensed to host ceremonies.
The Great Hall, holding up to 120 loved ones, is an iconic space boasting fine features; from the Minstrel’s gallery to the William Morris stained windows and huge Elizabethan fireplace the venue has it all.
For an intimate gathering of 20 friends and family, the Library is perfect, rich in wooden panelling with beautiful views.
After the all-important vows, couples can host their reception in the Great Hall, Dining Room, or alternatively the Ballroom. The latter, is a stunning, elegant space complete with its own bar and magnificent candelabra. This suite is great for up to 400 guests.
Couples tying the knot here, can have the opportunity to use the hotel’s fleet of cars, including Rolls Royce Phantoms. There’s also a dedicated wedding team on hand to assist every step of the way.
