The Isla Gladstone Conservatory
Set in private grounds within Liverpool’s Stanley Park, The Isla Gladstone is a Grade II listed Victorian glasshouse and one of the cities’ most recognisable venues. Lovingly restored in 2007, the formal gardens, bandstand and original framework of the conservatory offer happy couples a memorable setting for their nuptials.
Surrounded by picturesque rose gardens and glistening lakes the conservatory boasts beautiful natural light and clean white lines. It can play host to up to 156 guests for a ceremony before spilling out on to its covered, elevated terrace for an al fresco drinks reception with stunning sunset views.
Couples looking to wed outdoors can opt for the original bandstand, the only urban outdoor area in Liverpool where it is possible to legally marry. Fully-powered, it’s perfect for outdoor events and entertaining and the surrounding green space is purposefully designed to position two marquees. Wedding receptions are available for up to 400 family and friends with onsite parking for up to 100 cars.
