Capesthorne Hall
Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, along an elegant driveway, the exquisite grounds of Capesthorne Hall include formal gardens, lakes, woodland and parkland. This prestigious Jacobean stately home, which comprises the Courtyard, Main Hall and contemporary Lakeside Wing, can be hired exclusively for weddings. The interior boasts a wealth of period features including chandeliers, feature fireplaces, ornate Italian paintings and sculptures.
The venue has a range of ceremony spaces for up to 150 guests. The ornate Lakeside Gazebo is a stunning outdoor setting with a tree-lined avenue creating a natural aisle. Inside, there’s the magnificent Drawing Room, Queen Anne Room and Lakeside Wing. The intimate family chapel, set within the grounds, can also be used for blessings.
Drinks receptions are usually held in the Saloon, which offers views over the lawn and woodland. If the weather is fine, loved ones can spill on to the terrace outside. The Lakeside Wing plays host to evening parties for up to 180 people.
Reduced rates for accommodation are available for the wedding party, and free tasting sessions are provided.
