Curvy Kate recently launched The Bradrobe

A bra style from Curvy Kate's The Bradrobe

Women may have drawers full of bras, but new customer insight from Curvy Kate shows that most are only reaching for a handful of them. Of those surveyed, 63% own six or more bras, yet 71% regularly wear five or fewer. While 34% own 10 or more bras, just 8% regularly wear 10 or more.

Rather than encouraging women to buy more, fuller bust lingerie specialist Curvy Kate has taken a different approach, creating The Bradrobe, a six-bra collection designed to cover the key needs of a fuller bust wardrobe. When you have a bigger bust, it's not necessarily about having more bras, it's about having the right bra for what you're wearing. The Bradrobe brings together six key Curvy Kate styles, each designed with a different wardrobe need in mind, from the everyday bra and the smooth T-shirt essential to strapless occasionwear and high-impact exercise.

Milly Major, senior design manager at Curvy Kate, said: "We wanted to look at the bras women actually need in their wardrobes, rather than simply adding more choice. "The Bradrobe covers those key moments – your everyday bra, something smooth under a T-shirt, a comfortable option for relaxed days, a style that gives you more lift, a strapless for occasionwear and a sports bra. Once you've got those covered, you've got the foundations of a really good bra wardrobe."
