Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa
Built in 1816, this country house has striking gothic features such as mullioned, arched windows, enchanting carved pillars and detailed stonework, and the French chateau style tower provides a stunning focal point as you approach. Effortlessly combining the old with the new, the original hall has an intricate tile mosaic floor, traditional wood-panelled lounge and a stunning Georgian staircase, perfect for dramatic wedding shots.
Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is set within in 38 acres of lush Cheshire countryside and is reached by a long, private, tree-lined drive. The outdoor terrace has romantic views of a lawn fountain, set within manicured gardens – a beautiful setting for open-air reception drinks.
The Wardle Suite with its floor-to-ceiling windows is filled with natural light, and has access to the outdoor terrace – it can host 120 guests for your ceremony. The Garden Pavilion also offers a magical setting for your al fresco vows with 140 guests. Head into the Worleston Suite post ceremony, when the Wardle Suite’s partition is removed. It can then accommodate 160 diners and 250 guests for the evening bash.
You’re treated to a complimentary executive bedroom on the night of your wedding, as well as a private room for a full traditional breakfast for the residential wedding party the following morning. Also included is a complimentary menu tasting and a member of the hotel’s team to act as toastmaster. Plus, the hotel also has a fantastic health club and spa, with 18-metre pool, relaxation lounge, sauna, spa pool and seven treatment rooms – a dream for some pre- or post-wedding R and R.

Jewel for the aisle |
|
Sustainable and ethical Cheshire-based jewellery brand Anuka has launched a fine jewellery collection. The capsule collection will consist of stand-alone pieces all made from 9ct or 18ct Fairmined gold, in yellow and white, along with fully traceable sapphire and Canadamark diamonds. The collection was inspired by two necklaces founder Francesca made for her and her sister following the passing of their grandmother. The sisters wanted to use their inheritance to invest in something life-long, selecting two diamonds, which now have a permanent place around their necks, serving as a beautiful reminder of their family.
