Tatton Park Old Hall, Knutsford

Tatton Park Old Hall, Knutsford

Wedding venue Tatton Park's Medieval Old Hall survives as its oldest building and is Grade II listed. Built at the turn of the 15th and 16th centuries, the single storey Great Hall, hung with tapestries, and lit by tallow candle and flickering fire still retains the mysterious atmosphere of the Medieval and Tudor periods – a fabulous and dramatic backdrop for photos. If Tatton Park is a jewel in the crown of Cheshire, then the Old Hall is its hidden gem. The building stands tall within its own walled grounds, amongst a quiet wooded area complete with the ancient, thatched Cruck Barn, and plenty of space for tipis and marquee. The site itself is a scheduled ancient monument, and as such is considered an area of significant historical and archaeological importance in the North West.

The "I dos"
Ceremonies can be conducted al fresco surrounded by the beautiful grounds or in the licensed Great Hall or Cruck Barn.
