Is Liverpool's 30 James Street the luckiest hotel in the UK?

With 97 per cent of couples tying the knot at 30 James Street still happily married, we have to ask – is this Liverpool's luckiest hotel?

A study, carried out by venue's owner, Signature Living, has found that of the 500 weddings that have taken place at the venue since it opened its doors in 2014, 485 of them are still going strong today. The luxury hotel has bucked the national trend, with data from the Office of National Statistics showing the divorce figure in the rest of the country to be much higher.

“The hotel has become synonymous with weddings since it opened four years ago. We offer the complete package – luxury bridal suites, rooftop bar and restaurant and spa. Brides and grooms feel completely relaxed in preparation for their big day,” says co-founder Katie Kenwright. The venue also allows couples to relive their special day with a complimentary one-year anniversary stay.
