Hosted by National Museums Liverpool has launched a new events space, ideal for wedding receptions, within the historic World Museum. The venue hire and events division of National Museums Liverpool has added the Lower Horseshoe, a stunning exhibition gallery, to its already impressive portfolio of wedding venues, and is now taking bookings for weddings from 2020.

The space has capacity for up to 600 guests for a wedding breakfast and 800 for a reception, giving you the opportunity to dine and party within one of the city’s most important cultural venues. Head of events at the organisation, Katie Roberts, says, “Alongside the Lower Horseshoe, World Museum also houses the Sir Richard Foster Wing, a newly-refurbished aquarium and planetarium, meaning couples have plenty of options to choose from depending on the size of their party and the feel they want for their wedding.”

With decades of combined events experience, the team have worked with hundreds of brides and grooms across a number of museums and galleries to deliver weddings with a difference, bespoke in every way from the theme to the food.
