BeWILDerwood Cheshire, a 70-acre woodland adventure park will open for the first time on 18th July 2020, and tickets are now available for purchase online at www.cheshire.bewilderwood.co.uk

Day tickets for BeWILDerwood Cheshire will cost between £9.50-£17.50pp when booked in advance, and the price covers all-day park entry, face painting, interactive storytelling shows and crafting sessions. Parking is free.

The magical adventure park allows visitors to run WILD in a beautiful forest setting. The whole family can spend hours running and clambering on the sustainable wooden structures, from aerial ropewalks to climbing walls, balancing logs and muddled mazes. The full day attraction is home to over 10 giant structures, including the magnificent Sky Maze, reaching eight metres into the treetops. Based on the BeWILDerwood book series by Tom Blofeld, the first site was opened in Norfolk over 13 years ago.

Author and BeWILDerwood founder Tom said of the launch “following the success of our Norfolk site which has been bringing joy to families for over 13 years now, we are thrilled to announce that tickets are now on sale for BeWILDerwood Cheshire. It has been in development for 3 years following enormous customer demand, and we look forward to customers from all over the North-West of England, and further afield coming to our amazing new site”.

With the knowledge that customers will travel up to 3 hours to visit the flagship park in Norfolk, and day trippers in England travelling an average of 43 miles for a day out (Visit Britain 2018 GBDVS Annual Report, f2.22) BeWILDerwood Cheshire anticipates welcoming over 300,000 visitors a year from areas including Manchester, Yorkshire, Lancashire, The Midlands and North Wales, as well as overseas visitors who travel into Manchester airport.

Tom went on to add “BeWILDerwood really is a breath of fresh air compared to other attractions, and we are unique in our approach to play, with no noisy rides, no electronics, and no junk food. We can’t wait until we open our Wonky Wooden Gates on May 23rd and welcome all of our loyal and new customers to the wonderful world of BeWILDerwood”.
