Nightflix Gin Cinema comes to Wirral

Nightflix Gin Cinema

Strap on your singing boots and warm up those vocal chords, because Nightflix gin cinema is bringing song-tastic films to the New Brighton Football Club (R.U.) in Wirral, on the weekend of 20th – 22nd August. At this immersive outdoor gin festival and cinema experience guests will be able to belt out the lyrics to some of the most popular musicals of recent years, such as Mamma Mia, A Star is Born, and The Greatest Showman, along with classics such as Grease and Dirty Dancing. Get ready for good vibes, great films, and tasty gins as the order of the day. Take your own chair, or hire a deck chair or giant beanbag, and sit back with a drink and get ready to enjoy the film on the outdoor LED screen.

As this is a gin cinema event, guests can of course enjoy a wide range of gins and mixers, along with a fully stocked bar for any non-gin drinkers with a wide range of soft drinks. There will also be a selection of hot food and sweet treats available at all locations. And a little rain won’t get in the way, the show will go on. So take a brolly or waterproofs. The Nightflix Gin Cinema has been well received by attendees as a fun day out and a good old-fashioned singalong – a special favourite for date nights, family outings or girls’ nights out.

Ben Stonehouse, CEO of Gin Cinema, says, “We’re looking forward to bringing our hugely popular Gin Cinema experience to movie lovers in Wirral and the surrounding area of Merseyside. Across the three days there are six brilliant films that we know audiences will love, and they’ll be able to do so whilst expanding their gin horizons, having a good old singalong, and tucking into a delicious bite.”

In line with current government guidelines track and trace will continue to be in operation, but there will be no social distancing required at the event.

How much should you spend on a wedding gift? It seems the answer depends on just how well you know the happy couple. New research from One4all Gift Cards has revealed that almost half of Brits (49%) would spend less on a wedding gift if they were not particularly close to the couple. The relationship came out ahead of travel and accommodation costs (38%) and paying for a hen or stag do (28%) when it comes to factors influencing how much guests are prepared to spend. For those closest to them, Brits consider an average of £77 per person to be an acceptable wedding gift. The most popular amount was between £50 and £100, selected by 43% of respondents, while 36% believe spending up to £50 is perfectly acceptable. Just 5% would spend more than £200.
