It's the season of wedding fairs and open days, so if you're out and about this February and are hoping to find a gorgeous historical barn venue, be sure to check out Meols Hall's wedding open days on Saturday 5th and 19th February, 10am-3pm. Here, you'll have the chance to meet the venue's expert wedding coordinators and chat all things ceremonies and receptions.

Visit the 400-year-old exclusive Tithe Barn, coach house and courtyard set in 99 acres of parkland. There's no need to book an appointment and you can use the main gates opposite the Hesketh Arms, Churchtown. Just pop PR9 7NA into your satnav and ta-da! Follow the road, past the manor house and turn right into the courtyard, before following the signs to the car park.
