Château Puyanché was named after Armand Puyanché who had a dream to own vineyards and bought the estate in the early 1900s. His great granddaughter, Bernadette Arbo, is pursuing his dream. She has built an estate with 38 hectares of vines and decided to produce a white wine in a land best known for its reds.
Château Puyanché is a fragrant and serious, oak-fermented, barrel-aged white wine. It has aromas of toasty vanilla spice, baked apple, elderflower, bold citrus and peach, with a rich and creamy texture to the mouthfeel and fresh notes of apple, peach and lemon peel on the palate.
