Featuring a British-brasserie inspired menu, the restaurant at Cottons Hotel and Spa offers tables as well as booth dining, and for those brighter days, guests can indulge in al fresco dining out on the terrace. Hero dishes include day boat caught fish of the day, Highbury of Shropshire chicken supreme and seasonal vegetable risotto. If you’re in search of a sweet treat, why not try the old school Knickerbocker glory? Nostalgia is included with every bite.

For those looking to enjoy a lighter bite, the hotel’s Lounge Menu is until 9pm each evening and features dishes such as salt baked beef brisket sandwiches, hand stretched sourdough pizzas, truffled mac “n” cheese, roasted halloumi, orange & quinoa salad and Thwaites beer battered fish and chips. Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, birthday, baby shower or just simply a get-together with friends, there’s always time for afternoon tea. Delicious treats include chocolate brownie, lemon choux, sultana scone and banoffee tart. Savory bites include freshly made finger sandwiches, featuring Tuscan chicken, salmon and crème fraiche, cheese and chutney and cucumber & dill cream cheese.

Afternoon tea is served daily either in the restaurant or on the terrace until 5pm.

Traditionally, Sunday is a day of rest, so let the hotel’s team of talented chefs do all the work and serve up a decadent spring-infused feast. Whether it’s a family get-together or a quick re-fuel after wandering around the towns and villages of Cheshire, Sunday lunch is always a good idea.

Packed full of locally sourced ingredients and flavours to suit all tastebuds, guests can enjoy a fantastic dining experience at the hotel’s award-winning restaurant.

Choose from Forest of Bowland beef, Pendle Hill Lamb and Highbury of Shropshire chicken. With all Sunday roasts, being served with duck fat thyme and garlic roasties, delicious cauliflower cheese, braised red cabbage, honey roasted carrot and parsnip.*

Sunday lunch is served every Sunday from 1pm to 4pm.
