The stuff of legend

The stuff of legend: Image 1

Stunning images of the £10million football-themed luxury hotel built in tribute to Everton football legend, Dixie Dean, have been revealed. The CGI imaginings depict an opulent 100 room designer hotel that will sit just yards away across from its sister hotel, The Shankly, conceived in tribute to Bill Shankly OBE. It will offer restaurants, bars and an event space for weddings, as well as a museum of memorabilia and history dedicated to the footballer and his career.

The 160 cover restaurant and bar, due to launch in May, is named No.9 after the number worn by the Everton player and embraces the iconic past and grandeur of the Grade II listed gothic Jerome & Carlisle building. The rest of the hotel is scheduled for completion in July 2019.
