Hen and stag party organiser Last Night of Freedom has revealed that Liverpool has beaten Manchester to be crowned the best hen-party spot in the North West, and third most popular location in the UK.
The draw of Concert Square and Albert Dock as well as other popular haunts in the city seemingly trumps its neighbour's offering. Hen parties are more likely to remain in the UK than stags, with stay-cation cities like Bristol, Manchester and Newcastle more appealing than leaving the country.
“The fact people are choosing not to go abroad means a boost not only to the local economy, but also to the city's reputation as a great destination for groups to visit,” says managing director Matt Mavir.
