The Camden Watch Company introduce its first pocket watch
British independent watch brand and designers, The Camden Watch Company, founded by wife and husband team Anneke Short and Jerome Robert, have announced the release of their first pocket watch. Available for pre-order now, the pocket watch will ship in mid-June, just in time for summer weddings.
Perfect for dressing up a suit, guys wanting to pull off the dapper chap/vintage look or even a waistcoat, coat or jacket, The Camden Watch Company's pocket watch is a piece that feels like a natural extension of the brand's design story.
Taking cues from the pocket watches of Victorian London, the design leans into that sense of heritage, while still feeling distinctly modern. The case engraving is based on a Victorian scrollwork style, heavily inspired by vines and natural shapes (soft curling lines and flourishes) with the centre design reflecting the elegant ironwork of the bridge over Regent's Canal (Bridge No.10) element used on their automatic crowns. The full hunter case opens to reveal a detailed, layered dial that carries all the hallmarks of The Camden Watch Company, industrial touches, clean lines, and subtle nods to their London roots.
