Independent Wiltshire-based bridal business Six Stories is sending free bride t-shirts to those who have had their wedding date postponed due to the coronavirus. With so many couples across the UK facing huge disappointment with cancelled or postponed wedding celebrations, Six Stories have started a campaign to remind women that they are still a bride, even through this period of uncertainty.

The company wanted to spread a little cheer and remind brides of the joy of their wedding still to come. They have already had over 1,000 brides from across the UK get in touch. They're also working with their customers, whose plans are now challenged, by allowing exchanges of made-to-order dresses, and flowergirl and bridesmaids' tutus that might not be the correct size when the wedding is rescheduled, to help clients through a challenging period which could result in an onset of additional expenses.

The free t-shirts, normally £29 each, feature a 'bridey' slogan or embroidery of two wedding rings and are available to all brides nationwide while stocks last, but as Six Stories have themselves been affected by wedding cancellations across the country, they have the capacity to cheer up a huge amount of brides across the UK as they focus all of their effort into sending out the designs.

The brand asks that any bride who has had her wedding affected by the coronavirus to get in touch and they will happily send her a complimentary tee of her choice. Brides can contact them via direct message on their social media channels @sixstoriesbridal and will only have to cover the cost of shipping.

Lucy Menghini, owner of Six Stories said, "When you get engaged you have to wait so long before you can dress like a bride, and that's why we created our range of 'bridey' t-shirts and hoodies. With the coronavirus affecting so many wedding plans, so many brides may feel like there's nothing to look forward to as we go further into the unknown. We're heartbroken to see so many people devastated by the wedding cancellations, and we want to make sure that all of these women remember they're still a bride and that's something to be celebrated."

Ross Mengini, her partner and co-owner added, "This is usually such a busy time of year for us and we have suddenly found ourselves with orders cancelled and postponed, so we decided to take this time to do what we could for those who have had their celebrations affected by the outbreak of coronavirus. We know some people will have to wait a long time before they can reschedule their celebration, and there are so many wedding plans still in the balance. We just wanted to spread a little cheer.

"Earlier this week, Six Stories announced a big sale across the product range on their website, with all items being sold at up to 50% off! Pieces in the sale include:
*Hoodie - WAS £42 / NOW £26
*Sweat - WAS £38 / NOW £22
*Hair Silk - WAS £130 / NOW £65
*Journal - WAS £42 / NOW £18

As a small business itself, the coronavirus outbreak will have a huge impact on Six Stories, with April onwards usually the peak time for weddings. The brand is continuing to produce its bridal range for the time being, with the team, including their in-house seamstresses, working from home. They want to reassure customers that parcels are still being collected daily, and being shipped to customers around the UK.
