If you’re both kitted out for the big day, it’s now time to decide what your support network will be wearing to complement your look to a tee. Comfort and the general feeling of utter fabulousness are certainly your goals to ensure happy faces on all members of your bridal party. So, read on to find out about the potential pitfalls and keys to success.
DO
Set a structure to the look you want. It's good to let your bride tribe have their say, as long they can work within your parameters of colour scheme, neckline etc.
Be adventurous. We've worked with so many bridal parties who've chosen different colours or shapes for each maid, and they all look gorgeous and work. The possibilities are endless with our extensive Dessy and Hayley Paige occasions ranges.
Have fun. Use your appointment to explore your options and ideas and have a blast together creating the perfect look for your girls.
Pick a brand that works with all shapes and sizes. Our brands, for example, are available in a size 0-28 with an extra length options, so there's something for everyone.

DON'T
Get too set on a specific idea. It's hard to suit all body shapes and sizes when you want one look for your bridesmaids, and will likely leave some of your besties feeling uncomfortable. Being flexible with your direction and ideas is the best way forward.
Look at dresses outside of your budget. It can be really distressing to fall in love with something only to find out it's financially unrealistic. Sometimes discounts are available for large bridal parties, so check with your boutique.
Let your girls lead the appointment. It's only fair that they should have their input, but please remember, it's your day, so stay strong and true to your vision.
