2025's wedding flower trends

FRUITS AND FLORALS

Couples are moving beyond traditional centrepieces embracing floral tablescapes drapped in fabrics and enhanced by fruits and vegetables to capture the essence of 17th-century still-life masterpieces. Deep-hued roses, velvety peonies, and trailing amaranthus are paired with figs, pomegranates, grapes, and artichokes to add depth and texture to the wedding table. At Jacqui O we recently made a nod to this trend, pairing white tulips and ruffled ranunculus with deep black grapes and gold-leafed pears, which double as exquisite place names, adding a touch of sophistication to the tablescape. These living tablescapes transform receptions into immersive experiences, where every detail contributes to an atmosphere of luxury and abundance.

STATEMENT INSTALLATIONS

In 2025, one of the most exciting wedding trends is floral architecture, where flowers and foliage become not just accessories but integral elements of the venue's design. This trend focuses on grand, architectural floral displays that transform venues into immersive, blooming paradises. Take, for example, Beth and Matt, who chose a gin distillery for their reception, an ideal setting to embrace this evolving floral trend. The venue's industrial charm, paired with dramatic floral installations, created a stunning contrast that captivated their guests and elevated the entire atmosphere.

Floral installations like these are not just about the visual impact; they also serve as breathtaking focal points. From changing gardens to elaborate fabric-draped backdrops, these dramatic setups enhance the entire atmosphere, guiding the narrative of the day. Whether creating a grand statement or adding subtle elegance, floral installations are tailored to fit the couple’s unique theme and venue.

As couples increasingly understand the transformative power of flowers, they are willing to invest more in their floral budgets to ensure these impactful designs become the centrepiece of their reception. The result is a stunning fusion of nature, creativity, and architecture that elevates the entire wedding experience. For couples like Beth & Matt, the move towards floral architecture isn’t just a trend, it’s about creating an unforgettable, immersive space that fully reflects their story and style.

WEDDINGS AT HOME

2025 has seen a growing resurgence of at-home weddings, offering a unique charm that brings intimacy, personalisation, and a deep connection to the couple’s life and history. At-home weddings allow for creative freedom, transforming a home into a dream wedding venue that truly reflects the couple’s personality. Moving away from traditional white, couples are embracing vibrant, bold colour palettes, inspired by sunsets, gemstones, and high-fashion runways, shifting away from the pastel-dominated schemes of the past.

With colour making a strong comeback, bold pairings like rich terracotta with peony pink and vibrant cerise with burnt orange create striking, modern looks. These customised touches are designed to evoke real emotions, celebrate authentic moments, and tell meaningful stories.

For example, one of our brides, Hannah, envisioned stepping out of her family home, walking down a petal-lined path with loved ones seated on either side, and heading towards her favourite tree where she would exchange vows with Craig. Married beneath that tree at her family home, Hannah asked us to create a stunning floral display with flowers gracefully rambling up the tree, enhancing the natural beauty of the space. This personalised floral design not only reflected her love for nature but also created an unforgettable, intimate wedding experience.

An at-home wedding is more than just a celebration, it’s a beautiful, meaningful story woven with memories and the essence of the place that shaped you. Let’s bring your vision to life with bespoke florals that transform your home into the most magical wedding venue imaginable.
