Cheshire's Manor House Alsager is marking a milestone year after being awarded the prestigious Five Bubble Luxury rating from The Good Spa Guide for 2025, making it one of only two spas in the North West to achieve this exclusive accolade. The milestone recognition follows an investment in 2025 that has elevated the award-winning spa destination.
The ambitious development includes the launch of the acclaimed Secret Spa Garden in April 2025 and a comprehensive expansion of guest facilities this October, positioning Manor House Alsager among the UK's leading wellness destinations.
Awarded in October 2025, the prestigious Five Bubble Luxury rating, the highest accolade in spa excellence, recognised Manor House Alsager's exceptional guest experience. The Spa Spies praised the venue's "laid back vibe" and "relaxed and friendly service," calling it "everything you want from a spa day."
The Secret Spa Garden received particular acclaim, earning "a huge thumbs up" for its swim-up bar and hydrotherapy pool, Finnish sauna and cold-water plunge combination, plus two elegant greenhouses designed for ultimate relaxation. Reviewers also highlighted the "epic platters" served at Stables restaurant.
Building on this success, Manor House Alsager has this week unveiled newly refurbished changing facilities, introducing a second female changing room with 70 premium lockers. This expansion brings total female locker capacity to 139, significantly enhancing the spa's ability to accommodate guests during peak periods.
"The new changing facilities represent our commitment to providing an exceptional spa experience from the moment guests arrive," said Jess Middleton, General Manager at Manor House Alsager. "We've listened to our guests and created a space that combines luxury with practicality, ensuring everyone can relax and prepare for their spa journey in comfort."
The luxury facilities feature multiple private changing cubicles, shower facilities, Cloud Nine hairdryers and straighteners, and Temple Spa amenities. Staying true to the venue's commitment to quality craftsmanship, the entire project was completed by in-house builders and joiners, with premium lockers supplied by Crown Lockers.
Middleton adds, "As a family-run business, we believe in doing things the right way, with genuine craftsmanship and heart. Having our own team of builders and joiners means every detail is created with pride, not just efficiency. When we received Five Bubble Luxury recognition, it felt like validation that our approach matters, that guests can feel the difference when a place is built and run with true care. Watching people discover our Secret Spa Garden this year, seeing the stress melt away as they settle into spaces our team has lovingly crafted, those moments remind us why we're so passionate about what we do. These new changing facilities continue that tradition of quality and warmth, allowing us to welcome more guests into our family and share the restoration they deserve."
